Young Leader Community

Our Young Leader Community is a programme created within Be… Gymnastics to help young people, aged 10+, to get involved in coaching and have fun!

Our Young Leader Community is designed to encourage young people into coaching and helping others. Our club has created 3 levels for our young leaders to work towards and details of these levels can be found below.

Young leaders will need to pass a short multiple choice assessment to pass each level and also demonstrate coaching supports in class. Certificates will be awarded once a Young Leader Level is passed.

Young leaders will have the opportunity to coach regularly in our classes to gain experience and help our wonderful gymnasts progress and have fun. All young leaders will always be supervised by our Head Coach or a Level 2 Coach to ensure safety.

Young Leaders will require British Gymnastics Annual Insurance which is £20 (October to October).

British Gymnastics Leadership Academy Programme

As part of our Young Leaders Community, leaders can join the British Gymnastics Leadership Programme in combination.

This programme is designed for helpers aged 11-16 and has a log book to complete with many tasks focused on personal development and helping out at the club and gymnastics events. Rewards are given by British Gymnastics for completing different areas of the log book and this is a fantastic opportunity to add to a CV.
